Rolls of Fun

I promise this little girl isn't fat...but I am just loving the rolls I can make when I curl her up. I compared her to a future boyfriend the other day (Easton!) and he is at least 7 lbs heavier and he doesn't have rolls because he has too much fat it is like big pillows and his skin is stretched out. Fat babies are sooo adorable. Easton is totally cute without the rolls- but CK's rolls crack me up.

FYI- I am watching the office in the background. LOVE IT!

Tea Party 2

We tried another Tea Party yesterday and it was a lot of fun. Very crazy, but a lot of fun.

The girls wore princess dresses and sipped on apple juice tea. CK slept the entire time.
.
Nugs was only put in time-out twice for pushing. She ate her food and she also got a cupcake at the end.
.
Thanks for the wonderful "pee party" as Nugs calls it.

Where's Nugs?

Today Nugs shut herself into the hall closet. Rich thought she was playing a game so he said, "Where's Nugs?"

He then heard a tiny voice say, "I don't know"
.
After this we started playing hide-n-seek and this has automatically turned into her favorite game. One of us counts to ten and the other takes her and hides. She giggles almost the entire time so it is pretty easy.

She sure cracks me up!

Look Closely

I would like you all to look closely at this little nugget. Once again a failed attempt at a hair clip. However, I did just go to the ribbon store and bought some "no slip" things to put on the hair clips so they stay in her hair. I will post a (fingers crossed) success story of hair clips soon.
What else do you notice? I hope you take a look at the saggy drawers. They sort of fit until Nugs fills the pockets with loose change. You see- she has found our not so hidden- hiding place for our loose change and she loves to walk around and say, "MONEY" and then put it in her pockets.
Fortunately she hasn't eaten any yet (right Devyn?).

And now to the green chair- great steal for $4 at Walgreen's and it doesn't match anything but it is the perfect height for Nugs to eat her breakfast at the coffee table. Not quite sure what I was thinking- encouraging her to eat in front of the TV- but it was so stinkin cute and she loves it.

And the only other comment I will make about this picture is that while eating that quesadilla she would dip it in guacamole and just lick it off. Eventually she got tired of pretending she was going to eat anything other than the guac and she picked it up with her fingers and ate it.

For Auntie Erin

I love the fact that Auntie Erin- at her big grown up job in the city- sometimes watches videos of Nugs all day long. Well- probably not all day long, but we like to think so!
Even though this video is dark I figure Auntie Erin will enjoy watching a daily activity of Nugs.
And all we can say is, "JUMPY"

p.s. Cory and Katie... Slinky Dog was one of the best gifts ever. Both Nugs and CK play with it.

Blessing Day

Today was a very special day for our family. Rich was able to Bless CK at church. It was so wonderful to have the Hamilton family and such wonderful friends come to be with us on this special day.It was a beautiful blessing and I know CK is going to grow up and be an amazing sister and daughter. She will always know that she has a loving Heavenly Father and parents who love her more than anything. It is such a blessing, joy, and privilege that we have been chosen to raise this choice daughter of God.

Her dress was beautful, headband was adorable, and she was a perfect angel the entire time.

I will say ooops- I need to get some professional pictures of her in her dress because it is too pretty to let my camera try and do it justice.

Clean Out the Closet

I forgot how fast babies move through clothes. I just pulled these cute PJ's out of the 3+ clothes box and I remembered how my sweet friend Karlie gave these to us for Nugs. And I love the CK is big enough to wear them now too!

Today we started putting all the newborn clothes back into boxes and back in the garage- these girls have SOOOO many clothes!

And I thought I would mention have I love CK makes me look tan! haha. I am not tan- CK is just REALLY WHITE! We sure love her though.
