Fruity

So Nugs is a little "fruity" some days. Like today she was eating her fruit loops and she was making very funny faces. Gotta love her!She made quite the mess.

She found her thumb!

Ck took to the pacifier much easier than Nugs did... However, she didn't keep it in her mouth for very long. Basically we stopped giving it to her a week or so ago because it was more of a hassle than anything. Then yesterday at the pool I noticed she started sucking her thumb to fall asleep in my arms. I am not sure when Nugs started sucking her thumb, but CK started at 2 months. Thumb suckers are pretty cute- even two year old thumb suckers like Nugs.
I will let you know what I think when she is sucking her thumb in kindergarten.
Taking a picture of your baby and then all of the sudden she spits up during a picture- Not so cute. But I still love her anyway.

This is for Ethan

Cousin Ethan loves to watch the "pictures that move" on the blog... so this is for you Ethan. I know it isn't very exciting, because CK doesn't do much- but she is trying to talk to you.
We are so excited for another cousin that will be just about CK's age. Ethan is going to be such a good big brother too!

Now here is a picture of what CK looks at during the day when she is playing. This little star gives us the much needed time to chase nugs, or take her potty, or get lunch ready, or get her dressed, or you get the picture.

2 Months already??

Don't know how it happened, but CK is 2 months old today! Some days it feels like it has been FOREVER... but other days it is like she just came yesterday.

She is cute as can be and the other night she slept from 7pm to 5am. Unfortunately I kept waking up and pumping because it really gets uncomfortable! We will see if this is a trend or not, but other than that she is wonderful to have around.

I do feel a little bad for Rich though. He had his first day taking a baby to the doctor for shots. Ouch! He was pretty upset for the little nugget #2.

Swimming

We spent some time swimming yesterday with the girls in their matching swimsuits. CK was sleeping inside and Nugs had a blast playing in the pool with mommy, daddy, and our friends the Bakers. At one point she convinced me she wanted to go inside so I took off her swimsuit.Then she turned around and ran straight for the pool again. I think she just takes after her Auntie Devyn and likes to be a "nakie girl".

Diaper Dance

Nugs is definitely not back in diapers, but Rich puts her in one for her nap. He also likes to spend time each day dancing with her. Here is a little clip of her dancing.

Mommy and Me

I tried to take some self portait pictures with Nugs and I. She wasn't having any of that. Well, she played along for a little bit.And that is all.
