Hunger Games Date Night

My sweet husband agreed to pose for some pictures with me before we left for our date night to go see the Hunger Games with some friends. His mom and sister babysat the girls for us (thanks again!!) so that we could head out and spend some time with each other. It has been awhile so we were excited (maybe I was a little more so...) but then I came home and saw these pictures that had been taken...

We tried to make it look like a prom picture. Crazy face Rich.

Now I know where Ryann gets all her amazing faces from... her dad taught her how to NOT smile at a camera.

Oh good- finally a picture where he is smiling.

Maybe he knew how annoying he would be during the movie so he had to smile for at least one picture so I didn't get angry at him.

Date Night Recap

This morning I had a good friend text me and ask if I wanted to drop the girls off at her house from 5:30 to 8 tonight. I was a little shocked but she explained that her ward does babysitting swaps every week.

There are about 5 families so you babysit about 10-12 kids every 5 weeks, the other 4 weeks you have date night. :) how fun does that sound? Well, we decided to jump on this opportunity and dropped the girls off.

We started out our amazing date at Sushi Eye, using a Groupon that we had bought a couple weeks ago.

Fantastic!

Then we spent an hour walking around Target and discussing what we wanted in our next home, if we should rent or not, and all those things that.

What a killer awesome date.
